Ben has spent nearly twenty years building and rescuing web applications at companies like Weedmaps, Sophos, and Coupa, and independently through Middle Path Development since 2014. The through-line across both: leading features from concept to market, untangling complex codebases, guiding sound business decisions about technology, and mentoring engineers along the way.
The craft stays current. Most recently agentic AI–assisted development, where Ben was an early adopter of using AI tooling to ship faster without surrendering engineering judgment.
